Located in historic downtown Danville, the Maita family established Danville’s very own Brewery, ‘DBC’! The Maita family has a history in the beer business, getting started shortly after prohibition and distributing and working with some of the biggest and best breweries in the world since. The Maita family partnered with the incredible Randy Negi, partner of local Danville favorites Bridges and the Vine to create the perfect combination of phenomenal craft beer and delicious food.

Danville Brew Co.’s head Brewer, Matt Sager is a UC Davis Master Brewers Program graduate and has been an award winning brewer for 20 years. Matt is an incredible brewer and friend – so feel free to ‘talk shop’ with him while enjoying the warm pretzel bites with cheese dip and a pint of the Danville IPA. The atmosphere is casual and cool, the waitstaff is super friendly and knowledgeable and they have a beautiful outdoor seating area with fountain to boot! This is a great place to pick up a growler for a friend’s birthday, meet up with coworkers to catch a game or just enjoy a delicious dinner with your family (kids included!).

A few of our menu favorites include:  Chux beer, Danville IPA, the Money Burger (with billion dollar bacon, smoked gouda, you get the picture), the Fried Chicken Sando, the Prospect Protein salad or the drool worthy Chocolate Chip Cookie A La Mode!

Most recent awards 2020: Congratulations to DBC brewers for taking GOLD for 925 Blonde and bronze for Oatmeal Raisin Cookie at the Best of Craft Beer Awards!

Fun Fact: the top of their Oak Tree logo is actually a representation of the beautiful Mt. Diablo!
